Many of our students and clients have recently been getting caught up in a lot of what ifs:

• What if this quarantine doesn't end soon?
• What if I or one of my loved ones gets COVID-19?
• What if we run out of money before we get back to work?

The problem is that whatever question you present to your mind, it is going to begin looking for answers, and when you ask bad questions you get even worse answers.

Can you see how the questions above are setting you up to be looking for the worst possible scenerios? Not only that but focusing on these types of questions actually has you visualizing what you don't want...however the mind doesn't know the difference between what you do want and what you don't want. It just knows that if you are visualizing an outcome, then that must be where you are headed so it starts looking for the easiest and quickest way to make that vision your reality. YIKES!

Your mind is an incredibly powerful tool of creation. Look at your life. Everything you have right now is what you have created for yourself. Everything. The good, the bad, the ugly, and the beautiful...you created all of it. And that is really good news because even if you've created something that you're not thrilled with, you can make changes and create something new!

How? Easy! To begin with you have to get yourself into the space where change occurs, which is right here and right now. Begin by getting into a relaxed and comfortable space to meditate upon the abundance of health, wealth, love, and happiness that you do have available to you in your life right now. Focus on what is present right here, right now...all the gifts and blessings, and allow your heart to feel a deep sense of gratitude for all of it.

Then use your imagination to see it expanding and growing. Allow yourself to envision what your heaven on earth would look like for you. How would it look, smell, taste, sound, and feel? Use all of your senses to bring your vision to life within your mind's eye and spend a few minutes every day focusing on that.

You will find that if you shift your perspective from the fears and limitations of "what if" to the love and expansion of "what is" that you will begin to draw more and more things to you that fill you with gratitude and joy.

Generally speaking, people born under the sign of Aquarius are fun-loving, creative, and forward- thinking individuals who like to be on the cutting edge of new ideas. Autonomy and individuality are important to Aquarians: They like to do what they enjoy and like to be who they are. They usually have no problem standing out in a crowd and they are often known for their unique fashion choices. 

At the same time, Aquarians love the idea of universal togetherness - hence, the "Age of Aquarius," the blossoming of understanding and brotherly love. However, interpersonal relationships - whether with spouses, children, or even business partners - can be difficult for Aquarians, simply because they would rather gear their efforts towards the bigger picture. Their scope of vision is so vast that they simply refuse to be restricted to the details and intricacies of one-on-one interactions. 

According to the kabbalists, each month has an angel that is connected to the specific energy of that month. The angel that is connected with the energy of Aquarius is the archangel Gabriel whose name means "strength of God." As mentioned in Karen Berg's book To Be Continued: Reincarnation and the Purpose of our Lives: 

"Judgment is Gabriel's domain. According to the ancient scriptures, the Creator instructed Gabriel to "go and write signs on the foreheads of the righteous so no sabotage angels can harm them."


What this means to us is this...Gabriel is keeping track of where our thoughts are. If you are in alignment with our spiritual path with thoughts of peace, love, joy, and oneness, then Gabriel marks us with a red "R" on our forehead which warns the sabotage angels to stay away. But if we are NOT in alignment with our spiritual path and are distracted with thoughts of chaos, hatred, fear, and separation, then there is no mark of protection and the sabotage angels have permission to wreak havoc on you.

In other words, lifting our consciousness protects us. It's that simple.

The good news is we have the energy of Aquarius to support us in lifting our consciousness. Now is the perfect time to be aligning your thoughts, emotions, and actions with the fulfillment of your heart's desire/spiritual path. If you're not sure what that is, then I'd suggest you simply start by finding something you love to do and create more time to do it...every day! Inspiration tends to strike when we are in the midst of doing what we enjoy, so make it a habit to do what you love.

1. Many of my students and clients ask me about my spiritual practice. They want to know what it is I do every day to keep myself aligned with God. I will tell you what I tell them...I feed my soul EVERY day!
   
   What that looks like on a day to day basis can vary. Some days I read for a couple of hours, on others I have an extended yoga practice, and on other days it could be anything from a candlelit bubble bath, to dancing in my living room! Last night for example, I watched an amazing movie. (Click here to see it)

There are a few things I do daily (and suggest you do too):

1. I journal to God about my current challenges, blessings, and
   prayers.
2. I read from the text of A Course in Miracles, and do a
   meditation from the workbook.
3. I share my love and knowledge
   through blog posts.

Other than that I simply pay attention. It's just my perspective may be slightly different. For example when I look upon the tragedies of the world, I try to see them through the eyes of God. When I hear criticisms from others, I try to hear God's message in the words. I know that God loves us and is constantly reminding us of that. The problem is most of us aren't paying attention.

And we aren't paying attention because our soul's are barely hanging on because they haven't been fed in a while!!!
